Wsus 3 clients not updating

If I run a report on one of the servers and I set the product filter to "Windows Server 2016" I get 31 updates installed or not applicable. The status for all of them is "Not Applicable" They are all Critical updates and Security Updates.I have manually gone through the installed updates on one of the servers in question and verified that these "Not Applicable" updates are not installed.

I migrated our WSUS 3.0 SP2 to a new server over the weekend.I updated the settings in the domain GPO to point to the new server, »v_srv30. I also migrated our help desk system to the same server. What I didn't realize was that WSUS still used port 80 for communications even with 8530 set up (at least according to what I've read) for reporting client status. After having issues with clients not updating or reporting status, I changed our help desk system to use port 8080 for standard HTTP requests freeing up port 80 for WSUS.I changed the GPO to sync with Microsoft and the clients pulled down updates without issue and gave me the option to install. The last time I relocated WSUS to a new server I created a CNAME alias to refer clients to the correct server. In addition you have to disable strict name checking on the new server so it will accept connections by more than one name.
